Utilized for neurologically impaired patients for sensory integration and also selected orthopaedic patients, both post surgical and non-surgical. This patented modality has a specific wave that it makes that causes resistance for those patients swimming against the current, ideal for conditioning performance animals.

The Underwater Treadmill is state-of-the-art equipment, the first in the region, is utilized for patients recovering from surgery and also for those patients who have joint and soft tissue impairments who have not undergone surgery. This modality allows the patient to have their feet touching the treadmill in water and dependent on the height of the water, removes approximately 50 percent weight bearing thus providing therapy in a low impact medium. This modality provides the therapist with excellent control of the patient for therapeutic purposes.
